During the winter months we slow down on the tree service and start logging.
We go into wood lots and thin out the trees so that the healthier younger trees can grow better.
Depending on the species of trees, 5-10 acres could be worth 10,000-40,000$

WE ARE HIRING!!!

We hope your July has been full of lots of sunny days outside.
We have been very busy cleaning up from the storm that hit our service area.
Recently we have decided we need to add a new team member, we are looking for a Skilled and Certified Climber/ Certified Chainsaw Operator.

Another post on TRIMMING!
Trimming...
Yes, another post on trimming :)
Today we are trimming a soft maple tree at a residental address. The reason for the trimming being done today, is so that a spruce tree growing close to the maple tree can get more sunlight.
We see this quite frequently, where a larger tree is blocking a younger tree from getting the light it needs. This is solved quite easily, by giving the larger tree a generous trim, allowing the sunlight to then reach the smaller tree.
Smaller trees need a little bit more love that mature trees. Watch for small trees on your property that may need some extra love and sunlight! :)

Hello.
This week we are at a Heritage Property, trimming and cutting trees.
We love Heritage Properties, but with these lovely old properties come old trees. And old trees are prone to breakage.
So at the moment we are trimming some beautiful old trees, so that they can have a longer healthier life.
If you too also have some older trees on your property, and you are wanting to keep them growing and healthy, contact us for a free estimate!
All to often we are called in to remove older trees that have not been cared for, and if trimmed and maintained could have lasted years longer.

Why Trimming Your Tree is Important.
Today we are trimming trees in Waterloo Region. Trimming trees is vital to their health. It can improve health, reduce shade, and influence flowering, and fruiting.
Approximately, 10-15% of the live foliage may be removed per season. Younger actively growing trees, may have up to 25% of the foliage trimmed.
We recommend trimming your trees every 5 years for optimal health.
